SAFETY & CREW

YOUR ENJOYMENT IS SECOND ONLY TO YOUR SAFETY

Safety of our passengers is always priority #1

Each of our Portland boat tours begins with a safety briefing from the Captain, a highly experienced mariner who holds an Unlimited Master’s License, one of the maritime industry’s highest-level professional credentials.

Captain Dale brings decades of professional maritime experience to every trip, including command of vessels in demanding waters and complex marine operations. That depth of experience means you can simply settle in, enjoy the river, and know you’re in exceptionally capable hands.

The boat is outfitted with 70+ commercially certified Type 1 PFD’s (life vests), more than enough for all of the adults and children we will ever have aboard. Additionally, the vessel is equipped with all US Coast Guard required safety gear such as first aid, fire extinguishers, pyrotechnics, life ring, buoys and more. The vessel is comfortably enclosed by a 40” high safety guardrail on all sides. Our river boat tour guests are walked along the dock with a crew member at all times and assisted on and off the vessel by the helping hands of our crew during embarkation and dis-embarkation.
